An electrician from Invergowrie will run as a candidate in next year’s state election.
The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers party have named Rayne Single as their candidate for the seat of Northern Tablelands.
Launching his campaign in Tingha, Mr Single believes the region’s smaller communities have been ignored by the Nationals.
“They’ve failed to fight council mergers, they’ve failed to fight for drought funding and they’ve failed to stand up against the city Liberals.”
