STRONGMAN EDDIE CREATES HISTORY

Saratoga strong-man Eddie Williams created history at the weekend becoming the first man to win both the ASA and ASM National titles.

There were five events at the Mount Gravatt competition in Brisbane.

The highlight was a staggering 350-kilogram deadlift, setting a new personal best.

The 28 year-old also carried a 300-kilogram frame 20 metres in just over 10 seconds.

He’ll be back in action in Melbourne in November, and is also keen to test himself overseas against the world’s best.
