ETTALONG CHANNEL DREDGING PREPARATIONS BEGIN

After months of political back-and-forth, it seems ferries and boats will soon be able to access the Ettalong Channel again.

Preparations began today for the dredging of the channel, to clear away the large silt build-up.

The state government has funded the $600,000 project.

It’s hoped work will be underway by Friday, taking up to five weeks.
