GUNNEDAH SWITCHED ON TO NATIONAL BROADBAND NETWORK
More than 4,300 homes and businesses across Gunnedah now have access to the National Broadband Network.
Residents will be able to enjoy faster internet speeds, and it’s expected to be a big boost for local businesses.
“With technology being the way it is, it’s supposed to speed everything up for us and make it easier but when you’re sitting their waiting for something to download or your email cuts out, and things like that, it can be very frustrating,” Stacey Cooke, Gunnedah Business Chamber.
But residents are being urged to do their homework and keep service providers honest and competitive – with 18-months to switch over.
