SAFETY CONCERNS RAISED OVER KARUAH ROAD

A meeting will be held at Port Stephens…following changes to a busy stretch of road near Karuah.

Safety concerns have been raised over a new pedestrian safety lane on Mustons Road – which greatly narrowed one stretch.

The meeting between the Port Stephens Traffic Committee and locals will be held next month.

As the proponent of the Petition that resulted in the meeting of the community with council, as opposed to the meeting not arranged by council with the community, thanks for the coverage. That the plan is to substitute the one lame, one lane solution for pedestrians safety with another one lame solution…what can I say a sterling example of ‘good governance’ by our council.
