The world’s fastest man is in talks with the Central Coast Mariners, in the hope of securing his first professional footballing contract.
Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp confirmed this morning that eight-time Olympic gold medalist, Usain Bolt, could be making a move to the Gosford-based club as early as August this year, saying, “His people are talking to my people.”
But Bolt is not guaranteed a contract – his future in the A-League is dependent on the result of a six-week-trial.
