NEW SPORTING DIRECTOR FOR THE CENTRAL COAST MARINERS

A big announcement for the Central Coast Mariners, securing the signature of Mike Phelan as the club’s new Sporting Director.

The former right hand man of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, Phelan will play a key role in guiding the Mariners Academy, while also working with the Central Coast’s A-League outfit, now coached by Mike Mulvey.

Phelan’s impressive resume includes being alongside Ferguson for three English Premier League titles, as well as a UEFA Champions League title.

He is expected to arrive on the Central Coast next month.
