JYE PICKIN WINS NSW JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

A resounding home town victory for young Charlestown golfer Jye Pickin – claiming the New South Wales Junior Championships, ahead of Queenslanders Louis Dobbelaar and Lewis Hoath.

Queensland’s Hye Park stormed home to win the girls title.

17-year-old Pickin went into the final day at Charlestown today, seven shots ahead.

The year 12 student put in a composed final round on a very familiar course, carding a final round 69 to claim the trophy by an incredible 13 shots.
