MAN RESCUED AFTER BECOMING TRAPPED UNDER QUAD BIKE

A 70-year-old man is in hospital with multiple injuries after a quad bike accident north-west of Tenterfield last night.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the property near Back Creek around 3pm after family members reported him missing.

It’s understood he was trapped for several hours, before he was treated at the scene then flown to Gold Coast University Hospital.
