MAN CHARGED OVER ALLEGED CHILD GROOMING

Police have charged a 27-year-old man, following an investigation into an alleged attempt to groom a child in the New South Wales Northern Rivers.

It’s alleged the man engaged in email conversations, as well as exchanged images with a child under the age of 16.

Following inquiries officers arrested a man in Lismore on Friday.

He was charged with using a carriage service to groom a child under 16 years of age, and refused bail to face Lismore Local Court later today.
