JUVENILE HUMPBACK WHALE CARCASS WASHES ASHORE NEAR BYRON BAY

A juvenile humpback whale carcass has washed up at Tallows Beach, on the NSW Far North Coast.

Researchers from Dolphin Research Australia will take samples from the two-year-old, to determine a cause of death.

Experts aren’t ruling out the possibility of a virus, which could have killed the mammal.
