The Hunter Medical Research Institute has appointed a new director to replace Professor Michael Nilsson, who’s led the organisation since 2011.
After an international search, the organisation says Professor Tom Walley will take up the post in November.
Professor Walley currently heads the Institute of Psychology, Health and Society at the University of Liverpool.
