TEENAGER INDECENTLY ASSAULTED ON NSW NORTH COAST

A teenage girl has been indecently assaulted during a break-in at Ballina this morning.

The young woman was asleep in her home on Tamar Street, when she was woken at around 2 o’clock by an unknown man touching her.

It’s understood the man then fled through a back door, with the girl’s mother alerting police.

A number of items were also reportedly stolen from the home.

The man is described as being aged in his late 30s or early 40s, with a pale complexion and above average in height.
