Strike Force Raptor will have a permanent presence in the Hunter, with 23 officers allocated to the new ‘Raptor North’ unit.
Consisting of investigators, the Operations Support Group, Highway Patrol and intelligence staff, the unit will work to target and dismantle organised criminal groups in regional New South Wales.
The new unit is a result of state-wide restructure.
