NORTH COAST WOMEN’S AFL TEAM MAKES DEBUT

In A-F-L, this year’s annual representative fixture between North Coast and North West included the formal debut of the regional women’s side.

The North Coast only formed a women’s competition this year, but has already shown dominance over the North West team.

North Coast were fierce on the ball from the start, gaining a 43 nil lead by half time.

“The guys have been playing in this fixture for close to 20 years now but it’s always been a men’s only fixture this has been our first proper game of a rep game between women’s our league versus their league.”

In the men’s, the North Coast is looking to win back the shield after last years defeat.
