PEDESTRIAN KILLED ON CENTRAL COAST

A male pedestrian has died, after being hit by a car at Woongarrah on the Central Coast.

Emergency services were called to Hakone Road near the intersection of Waterside Drive, at around 8 o’clock last night, following reports a man had been hit by a car.

The man, who is believed to be in his 70’s, died at the scene.

The female driver of the car was taken to Wyong Hospital for mandatory testing.
