Tamworth’s Manilla Road has been upgraded numerous times this year and more are on the way.
$6-million from the budget will go to improving the Jewry Street and Manilla Road intersection.
“We will also look at upgrading that road all the way through to Wallamore road and ironing out that section near the racecourse. This is a bonus,” Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson.
Road works are due to begin in the coming months.
