DEFENCE BEGINS CLOSING ADDRESS IN JEREMY COLEMAN TRIAL

The jury in the trial of Newcastle immunologist, Jeremy Coleman, was today urged to look past what the defence labelled “public hysteria” surrounding the case.

Coleman’s barrister Pauline David began her closing address, by describing the aftermath of his arrest in 2016 as “highly prejudicial”.
