WAUCHOPE GOLFER DAVID BRANSDON QUALIFIES FOR US OPEN

Former Wauchope golfer David Bransdon is about to make his mark in America after qualifying for the US Open.

The 44-year-old is one of nine Australians to compete in the major, after finishing in second at Sectional Qualifying in Japan.

It’s the first time Bransdon has reached one of the big four tournaments.

The championship will be played at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, with the first round starting on Friday Australian time.
