SCHMUDE NAMED AUSSIE TEAM MANAGER FOR UNI WORLD GAMES

The University of New England’s David Schmude is set to play a major role at next year’s Word University Games in Italy.

The Director of UNE Life was recently elected as the chair of Uni Sport Australia.

Now, Schmude has been appointed as team manager of the Aussie squad, set to compete in Naples next July.

He’s the first staff member to be selected from a regional university – he says the competition has become a vital pathway for Australian student-athletes.
