FLIGHTS DELAYED AS THE HUNTER IS SHROUDED IN THICK FOG

The travel plans of close to a thousand airline passengers were disrupted this morning as heavy fog triggered delays at Newcastle Airport.

Planes were forced to circle off the coast as parts of the Hunter woke to a whiteout.
