RIDER DISQUALIFIED UNTIL 2068 ALLEGEDLY CAUGHT RIDING AT TAREE

A 50-year-old learner motorcycle rider, who was already disqualified until 2068, has allegedly been caught riding at Taree.

Officers patrolling along Kanagra Drive stopped the man around 8 o’clock on Thursday, when it’s alleged he failed a roadside breath test.

He was taken to Taree Police Station, where he allegedly returned a reading of 0.036.

Further checks revealing the man’s learner licence was disqualified until 2068.

He was charged with several offences including drive whilst disqualified first offence.

He’s set to face Taree Local Court in July.
