FITZSIMMONS PICKED FOR PORTUGAL

After numerous podium finishes at the recent World Cup, Avoca’s Riley Fitzsimmons has now been named on the Australian team for the Sprint Canoe World Championships in Portugal in August.

The Rio Olympian will compete with Jordan Wood in the K2 events – the category where they won two bronze medals in Germany.

The National Men’s team will now return home following a week of training in Munich.
