A third man has been charged in relation to multiple break, enter and steal offences targeting businesses in the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle area.
Safes and cash registers have been stolen in commercial premises in Edgeworth, Warners Bay, Mount Hutton, Adamstown and New Lambton during May 2018.
Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 34-year-old man at a home in Blackalls Park.
He was taken to Toronto Police Station and charged with several offences.
He was refused bail to appear in Belmont Local Court on June 13.
Two men remain in custody, each charged with six break and enter related offences.
