Solid accumulations in the east, especially in between Byron and Coffs.
Minnie Water, on the North Coast, received the top drop, with over 100mm. The coast copped more rain overnight.
The high still over the Tasman will generate light, moist easterly winds for the coast. The showers will ease as they contract to NE NSW and QLD.
The shower activity that has been contracting northward along the coast will clear for a couple of days. There’s a weekend change that will produce widespread rain, so make the most of the clearing conditions.
It will remain dry inland west of the Divide until the weekend change arrives. Only light fall will come down across the NW.
