TAMWORTH TAFE STUDENTS BRING HOME GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS
Tamworth TAFE students have brought home a swag of medals from the National World Skills finals in Sydney.
Uralla’s Courtney Baldwin took home the gold medal in the hairdressing section, while Joseph Ussher was crowned the nation’s best apprentice auto-electrician.
Tamworth’s Dayna Moyses snatched silver in cookery.
The gold medalists have boosted their chances of a spot in the International Worldskills event in Russia next year, with the official team announced in August.
