NCHA CUTTING HORSE SALE

The annual NCHA Cutting Horse sale kicked off in Tamworth today, with the highest seller going under the hammer for $43,000.

Meanwhile, a portion of the day’s sale also went to the family of Ken Smith, who was killed in a truck accident on his way to the event last week.

The proceeds from four horses were donated, on top of more than 70 stallions auctioned online this week.

It’s estimated to raise around $150,000.

“This accident has greatly affected many people, and the rally around to assist has been quite amazing,” says NCHA Director James Ingliss.
