MAN CHARGED WITH 22 OFFENCES FOLLOWING NORTH COAST POLICE SEARCH

A 57-year-old man has been charged with 22 offences, after police executed a search warrant at Cudgera Creek on the New South Wales Far North Coast.

Officers searched a property on Reserve Creek Road, at around 10 o’clock on Thursday, allegedly locating multiple items including cocaine, MDMA, crossbows, firearm parts as well as allegedly stolen goods including a caravan and a motorbike.

The man was charged with multiple offences, including nine counts of possessing a prohibited drug and possession of explosives.

He was refused bail, to appear in court later today.

A 20-year-old man was also arrested, but released without charge.
