There’s better luck for the next generation of Newcastle Knights – including Bradman Best, who’ll be looking to produce another match-winning effort like this next week.
He’s one of five Knights selected in the Blues squad for the Under-18 Origin clash – with Jaron Purcell, Phoenix Crossland, Brock Gardner and Jock Madden also getting the nod.
They’ll play in the curtain-raiser to next Wednesday’s series opener at the MCG.
