SOUTHBOUND LANES REOPEN AFTER M1 CRASH
Southbound lanes have reopened on the M1 near Mooney Mooney, after a serious motorcycle crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around lunchtime, after reports a trike had lost a wheel and hit a guard rail.
A 69-year-old man was treated on-scene and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
His 16-year-old passenger was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital with serious leg injuries.
BAR POINT: Southbound lanes have reopened on the M1 past Jolls Bridge after a serious motorcycle crash. Traffic remains heavy southbound on the mwy so continue to exercise caution and allow plenty of extra travel time until traffic returns to normal.
