GAV’S WEATHER: MOSTLY FINE WEEKEND AHEAD

The high level cloud has cleared from over Queensland and Northern New South Wales, while a pulse of energy in the Tasman generating large swell will move away, meaning coastal conditions will ease.

A significant weather system in causing wild conditions in the west, as the huge blocking high moves across the south east and into the Tasman.

Much of the west including Perth’s abnormally high temperatures and run of dry weather has come to an end thanks to today’s powerful system.

North East NSW can expect a few isolated showers as onshore winds continue, otherwise you’ve got more dry weather with cold nights and mild calm days on the way for the weekend.

We can expect more cool air to arrive mid way through next week.
