Armidale’s Holly Harris has claimed the opening stage of the Port to Port MTB race, crossing the finish line in just over two-hours and 15-minutes.
Having only just returned from road racing, the cyclist quickly found her feet in the open women’s category.
She now takes a handy five-minute lead into stage two tomorrow at Lake Macquarie.
