GAV’S WEATHER: SOME POTENTIAL COASTAL RAIN ON THE WAY

The consistent lack of cloud over the nation continues for another day, with some high level cloud sneaking in over the far North West.

A pulse of energy has moved into the southern Tasman, but the huge blocking high remains locked in and will make sure the rest of the month remains dry for most of the country.

Fronts keep clipping Tasmania producing rain, while keeping things cool locally with a light southerly air flow.

The next front will generate an increase in swell for Hunter waters and across the Mid North Coast.

A late isolated shower or two may skim in along the coastal fringe for northern New South Wales, but otherwise expect more fine dry conditions as the south west to south wind continue.
