14-YEAR-OLD LEFT WITH FACE INJURIES AFTER CENTRAL COAST ASSAULT

A 14-year-old girl has been left with injuries to her face, after she was allegedly assaulted by two teenage girls on the Central Coast.

Just before 5 o’clock yesterday, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old approached the girl at a bus stop on Terrigal Drive at Erina.

The girl was allegedly pushed and punched in the face, before the teens left the scene.

Both girls were arrested several hours later, and each charged with multiple offences.

They were granted conditional bail, and will face a children’s court later in the month.
