$42-MILLION AGED CARE FACILITY TO BE BUILT IN MOORE CREEK
A $42-million aged care facility, proposed for Tamworth’s Moore Creek area has been given the green light by the Northern Joint Regional Planning Panel.
The development submitted by RSL Life Care, will see a 57-unit retirement village as well as a 62-bed nursing home and purpose built dementia wing .
A community centre will also be built on the site.
Developers say the new facility will create up to 80 new jobs.
Construction will start later this year.
