NORTH COAST DAIRY FARMERS DISAPPOINTED OVER NORCO DUMPING
North coast dairy farmers have expressed their disappointment at a state government decision to dump NORCO as the supplier for 15 hospitals and health services between Tweed Heads and Port Macquarie.
The contract has been handed to Queensland’s Dairy Farmers, which is owned by Japanese brewer, Kirin.
NORCO’S head of retail, Andrew Burns, says it was clearly a business decision, and he fears local farmers will be denied the chance to supply their products.
