A 29-year-old woman has been refused bail, after she was charged with numerous fraud offences across the Newcastle region.
Police will allege false identification and bank accounts were set up and used on various online trading sites to sell items.
Officers attached to the Newcastle Police Area Command have been conducting inquiries over the past few months.
Around 6.45pm on Tuesday, a 29-year-old Wallsend woman was arrested.
She was charged with three counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
She will reappear at Newcastle Local Court on May 17.
