TEEN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BACK YARD EXPLOSION IN PORT STEPHENS

A family BBQ in Port Stephens has gone horribly wrong after mentholated spirits was poured on a fire pit, leaving a teenage boy in a critical condition.

The 16-year-old was flown to Royal North Shore hospital in Sydney, while four others were taken to a near by hospital for treatment.
