Port of Newcastle CEO Geoff Crowe will resign at the end of next month, after nearly three years with the organisation.
Chairman, Professor Roy Green, says Mr Crowe led the port’s growth and diversification strategy, including the development of plans for a cruise terminal, bulk terminal and a container terminal.
The announcement comes amid a growing push for the port to expand to container freight.
