A Tamworth businesswoman has been appointed to the Regional Telecommunications Review Committee.
Robbie Sefton has been named as one of six members who will examine communication issues in rural and regional Australia.
The independent review is expected to get underway in coming weeks, with a number of public consultations to be held across the country.
The committee will report to the federal government by the end of September.
