COUNCIL THROWS SUPPORT BEHIND ARTIFICIAL REEF AT CATHERINE HILL BAY

Lake Macquarie City Council has thrown its “in-principle” support behind a feasibility study, which could see Catherine Hill Bay Jetty transformed into an artificial reef.

The jetty is earmarked for removal by current owner, Lake Coal.

It wouldn’t comment today, but the Catherine Hill Bay Progress Association says it would like the jetty to remain.
