ANZAC DAY IN TAREE
More than 4,000 people are expected to march the streets of Taree tomorrow, paying their respects to our fallen diggers.
This year, marks a century since the Battle of Villers- Bretonneux.
(“It’s a great opportunity to remember and to commemorate and to thank and pay our respects but also to celebrate as a community, the sense of community that we do have in this region in particular.”)
The day’s proceedings will begin with a dawn service at the memorial clock at 5.45am.
