GREEN SEA TURTLES HATCH ON BOAMBEE BEACH

Efforts to protect a green sea turtle nest on Boambee Beach at Coffs Harbour have paid off, with 70 hatchlings making it to ocean over the weekend.

The nest, which was threatened by waves, was opened by rescuers on Saturday afternoon.
