POLICE ARREST MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY FLED FROM TAMWORTH ACCIDENT

Tamworth Police have arrested a man who allegedly fled the scene of a car accident near the Peel Street and Scott Road roundabout this afternoon.

Up to four cars were involved – several copping considerable damage.

Paramedics were called to the scene, luckily those involved sustained only minor injuries.

Traffic was delayed for a short time.
