PORT MACQUARIE CSU STUDENTS SLEEP OVERNIGHT IN THE CAMPUS LIBRARY

Charles Sturt University has responded to claims that six international students were found to be sleeping overnight in Port Macquarie’s campus library.

It follows reports that last month the group were asked to leave the 24-hour facility.

In a statement today, CSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Ms Jenny Roberts says the students who travel to Port Macquarie from Sydney each week were offered a range of accommodation options.

Adding that University staff will continue to ensure they have adequate accommodation to support them in their studies.
