The Waratahs have suffered a Super Rugby setback, with Israel Folau expected to miss a month after suffering a hamstring injury in Canberra.
The star winger limped off the field after just three minutes against the Brumbies.
But it didn’t stop the Tahs’ opening up the home side.
The New South Wales pack, including the Hunter’s Harry Johnson-Holmes, monstered the Brumbies in the second half… running out 24 to 17 winners.
The Tahs are now second in the Australian conference.
