An elderly woman has been airlifted to a Sydney hospital, after being hit by a car in Kincumber.
The 79-year-old was on her way to have her hair styled around 9.30 this morning, when she was struck by a vehicle on Avoca Drive and knocked unconscious.
She was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
