A MINOR FLOOD WARNING STANDS FOR PARTS OF THE MID NORTH COAST

A minor flood warning stands for parts of the mid north coast with the worst of the deluge yet to come.

The Bureau of Meteorology says the region can expect more than 100 millimetres of rain in the next 24 to 36 hours.

The SES has seen 19 call-outs in the last 12 hours, and is urging residents to prepare their homes, and check road information.

“Obviously we need to keep across that and ask the community to work with emergency services by not driving through flood water, if it’s flooded forget it and if people do require emergency assisstance to call the SES on 132 500.”

The rain is expected to continue into Friday.
