TEENAGER FACES COURT OVER DRUGS AND WEAPONS CHARGES

A teenager has faced court in Newcastle on drugs and weapons charges.

According to police, he was arrested yesterday while allegedly trying to reverse a stolen car from a home at Adamstown.

The 19-year-old is accused of possessing drugs and several weapons – including knives and a taser.

He’s been charged with a number of offences, including drug supply, possessing prohibited weapons, and driving while never having held a licence.
