TWO MEN ARRESTED AFTER CREMATORIUM ASSUALT

Two men have been charged, after they allegedly became aggressive towards officers, during an arrest at a crematorium in Coffs Harbour.

Police were called to the Stadium Drive facility, at around 10:40 this morning, following reports a man had been assaulted.

It’s alleged as police attempted to arrest the two men, a 28 and a 24-year-old, both became increasingly aggravated with pepper spray needed to detain one of them.

Both were taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station and charged with multiple offences.
